Description
This course represents one of the most significant handgun training programs available. Participants will acquire comprehensive knowledge regarding handgun manipulation while enhancing their speed and accuracy.
Objective:
This course aims to provide students with comprehensive knowledge regarding reloading techniques, ammunition management, and the procedures for clearing malfunctions in semi-automatic firearms. Additionally, students will be introduced to the principles of combat shooting, which include shooting in pairs, executing precise headshots, conducting failure drills, engaging multiple targets, and other alternative shooting exercises. The instruction will emphasize precise mechanics, ensuring that each aspect is taught with meticulous attention to detail.
The focus is on the manipulation and operation of handguns, which includes combat and administrative reloading as well as malfunction clearance, in order to ensure the firearm remains operational for optimal survivability.
Recommended Prerequisite: TAC-1 SAFE START or equivalent is highly recommended. You must know the legal ramification for deadly force, nomenclature of the pistol and an understanding of cycle of operation of the pistol. You must be able to safely handle your pistol to begin in our Defensive Handgun series.
