Tactical Pistol Operation
This module is designed to develop accurate pistol handling and operational skills. The course covers essential gun-handling manipulations required to effectively use a semi-automatic handgun in dynamic scenarios. Students will learn precise methods for reloading and clearing malfunctions. Additionally, they will be introduced to combat shooting concepts, including shooting in pairs, performing timed drills, engaging targets at a distance, and other performance-oriented shooting exercises. Pistol-1(b) is regarded as a fundamental module that provides valuable skills for all shooters.
Objective:The emphasis is on the handgun manipulation & operation including combat reloads and malfunction clearing to keep the gun “running” for personal protection.
PREREQUISITE:Students must be able to handle their pistol safely and should have a working knowledge of their firearm and elements of marksmanship taught in Pistol-1(a). Pistol-I module is a prerequisite to all of the advanced TAC-1 courses.
CLASS FORMAT:This (8 hrs) one day training will be held on the live fire range.
This course is essential for developing a shooter's fundamental understanding of tactical handgun operation and shooting. It is designed to introduce the concepts of handgun operation and prepare students to operate proficiently at a higher level.

Don't skip a chapter when you start a new book. This class is formulated to get the students prepared for further regimented training in defensive shooting. The emphasis is on building the working knowledge of safe handling of the pistol and marksmanship fundamental.
300 rds Ammunition (Students must provide own ammo.)
Holster (cheap nylon holsters or holsters that does not fully protect the trigger or holster that releases the firearm with the trigger finger are not allowed)
Sturdy belt
Magazines (4 or more recommended)
Magazine pouch (holds to magazines)
Dummy Rounds (5 minimum)
Eye protection (Prefer clear with no color)
Ear protection (both outer and inner protections are recommended)
Cap or Hat (highly recommended)
Appropriate attire for weather & flying hot brass
